The setup of the
location was divided into two major parts:
- set up the location and put the - fake - art works into place to give
the impression of an over-hyped exhibit opening.
- find a solution to install a hidden camera.
The hidden camera
seemed essential to us as much to prove the truth of our hoax as to
show its enormity ( video recording TV journalists
without their knowledge, it's got to be a first... ). It's
actually one of the things that made us propose the scenario of a -
fake - art exhibit opening: the presence of photo and video cameras
wouldn't seem suspect.
One of the numerous paradoxes of this whole story is that we ended up
promoting the idea of the opening to the journalists by saying that,
since it would be happening at a public place, they wouldn't need to
ask the participants for authorization, when in fact it made life really
easy for us.
Once our camera had been strategically hidden behind one of the paintings,
we told our two fake punks where it was so they could try as much as
possible to have the journalists in the camera's field of view. This
will be a really good proof of their acting talents.

The
stickers scene
For the sake of authenticity, our two fake
punks had been provided with an ample supply of typical militant
punk stickers. The Crick and Migou had dared each other to stick
those stickers on the journalists themselves.
At the beginning the real journalist is filming the exhibit is
general, when The Crick comes in ( FAKE punk
number 1 played by Vivien ) nd enters the camera's
field of view..
The Crick sticks a sticker right on the lens of the journalist's
camera.
Seeing this as a provocation, Migou ( FAKE
punk number 2, played by Benoit ) enters the field
of view too and sticks a "No God, No Master" sticker on the journalist's
forehead.
We'll later find again that sticker on a table near the room's
exit...
